Features

See what your TikTok Shop earns, order by order.

NetMargin Studio is built for UK TikTok Shop sellers. Every plan includes everything on this page.

Overview

  • Net profit for any period, with the full profit and loss breakdown.
  • A clear line saying how much of the total is estimated and what is not yet known.
  • A comparison with the previous period when both periods are complete enough to compare.
  • Changes to earlier periods, when later information or your own edits change past figures.

Orders

  • The sales, fees, costs and profit behind each order.
  • Which costs are recorded, which are estimated and which still need adding.
  • Search and filters to find the orders that need attention.

Products

  • Profit and margin for each product and variant.
  • Sort by what each product contributes to your profit.
  • Add or update product costs where you see them.

Costs

  • Every cost category in one place, with where each amount comes from.
  • Product costs, packaging, shipping and business expenses you enter.
  • Advertising you pay for outside TikTok, added as dated amounts.

How profit is worked out

The same profit and loss is used on every page of the dashboard, in this order.

Revenue
What customers paid, after seller discounts and refunds.
Taxes collected (VAT)
Removed before profit and margin if you are VAT-registered.
Net sales
Revenue after VAT. Margin is worked out on net sales.
Cost of goods
The product costs you enter.
Payment & platform fees
TikTok commission and other fees, including payment processing.
Packaging and shipping
What it costs to pack and send each order.
Gross profit
What is left after the costs above.
Advertising & affiliate costs
Affiliate commission, advertising TikTok deducts from your settlements, and advertising you add.
Stock losses and operating expenses
Damaged or lost stock, and the business expenses you add.
Net profit
What is left. Margin is net profit divided by net sales.

Illustrative figures, not a real shop. Laid out like the Overview in NetMargin Studio.

Every figure is labelled

TikTok settles some amounts days or weeks after an order. NetMargin Studio tells you which figures are final.

Recorded

Confirmed by TikTok, or worked out from costs you have entered in full.

Estimated

Included until TikTok confirms the final amount, with the basis shown.

Not yet known

Listed as missing, for example a product without a cost, and never counted as zero.

Your team

Invite admins, members and view-only users. Only the owner manages billing.

Security

Two-step verification, encrypted connection details and payments handled by Stripe.

Not available yet

Connecting other sales platforms, such as Shopify, and advertising accounts is not available yet. We will say so here when that changes.
